Bem sei que tinha um McLaren nas unhas, mas pela primeira vez na história do campeonato do mundo, um piloto negro sobiu ao podium (3º) ao lado do vencedor (Raikonnen) e do segundo, o campeão em título.
"It has been fantastic to lead my first Grand Prix. It was a fantastic feeling.
It was extremely tough with Fernando, a two-time World Champion behind me.
That is not easy in your first race."

Lewis Hamilton piloto da McLaren aos 22 anos; a melhor estreia inglesa desde o segundo lugar de Mike Parkes (Ferrari) em Reims 1966.
Há-de ser um dia campeão mundial de condutores.
